Regulated Day Care Provision for Children

WCVA CRU has an agreement with the Welsh Assembly Government to provide free criminal record checks for staff and volunteers working in CSSIW registered day care settings for children - day nurseries, after school clubs, breakfast clubs, playgroups and playschemes.

All such checks requested through CRU have the CRB cost supported by the Welsh Assembly Government.

The following umbrella organisations have registered to use the CRU service on behalf of their affiliated members - both private and voluntary:

Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids' Clubs

Mudiad Ysgolion Meithrin

National Day Nurseries Association/Cymdeithas Genedlaethol y Meithrinfeydd Dydd

Play Wales/Chwarae Cymru

Wales Pre-school Providers Association/Cymdeithas Darparwyr Chwarae Cyn Ysgol Cymru

If you are a member of any of these then you are not required to register with us independently. Instead, contact your membership body or CRU for further information.
