WCVA holds a range of policy events on issues of relevance as they arise, as well as quarterly regional policy events.

The regional events are an opportunity for voluntary organisations to meet to address important policy matters. These events provide a chance for you to : be consulted; engage in discussion and debate; and receive briefing information. There are usually focus group sessions looking at specific statutory sector policies which impact on the voluntary sector. There may also be plenary sessions looking at policies of more general significance to the voluntary sector as a whole.
